Difficulty finding pit-friendly housing is one of the most-cited reasons for owners relinquishing their pit bulls to shelters across the country.

HIP Pits is currently creating a comprehensive listing of pit friendly housing in the state of Wisconsin!

Do you know of, or live in, rental housing that welcomes pit bulls? Please share the information here so that we can include it in our guide and help loving owners keep their pets!

Celebrate WI Pits!

Brew City Bully Club is hosting another Celebrate WI Pit Bull event Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Washington Park in Milwaukee at 4:00 pm.

The first 50 pit bulls will receive free rabies vaccines and BC² will also be handing out vouchers for free spay/neuters to low-income owners!

HIP Pits! is a volunteer run organization dedicated to helping pit bulls and pit bull owners.

HIP Pits!’ goal is to provide community members the tools and resources they need to be responsible pit bull owners while also supporting the many adoptable pit bulls currently waiting for their forever homes in shelters and rescues across the state of Wisconsin.

HIP Pits! currently operates a Flickr group dedicated to sharing positive images of companion pit bulls in an effort to eradicate the misconception of pit bulls as aggressive or dangerous dogs.

We are in the process of creating a comprehensive listing of pit friendly housing in Wisconsin as well as a listing of pit friendly insurance companies and a resource library for responsible pit bull ownership.
